Airport Regulations

  1. AMA member insurance or equivalent is required to fly at this field.

  2. Pilots must comply with the AMA Safety Code.

  3. Spectators are welcome to drive to the spectator viewing area. Please be aware of low flying model aircraft.

  4. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  5. Pets must be on a leash.

Safety and Courtesy Guidelines

  • Follow the AMA Safety Code!  (There is a reason this is posted around the field three times).
  • Do not fly over the golf course to the north of our flying field (i.e. beyond the chain link fence or over the maintenance buildings).
  • Pets are not allowed in the pits or on the runways.  This is for their safety and ours.  All pets should be leashed when at the airport.
  • If there are other pilots, stay in communication with them (taking off, landing, or if you are walking onto the runway).
  • Fly a pattern when more than one pilot is flying, unless all agree on an alternative.
  • If there are more than 2 pilots in the air at any one time, we recommend using spotters.
  • Disagreements happen.  If you can't be courteous, at least be civil.
